The COVID-19 outbreak at Cedar Place residential aged care facility has been formally de-declared by the Public Health Unit.
NVC Group Cedar Place Service Manager Joane Leicht said the de-declaration allows residents to engage once more in normal daily activities within a COVID-safe framework.
“It is excellent news for both our residents and staff that Cedar Place is out of outbreak, and we are in the process of returning to business as usual,” she said.
“I am grateful to our staff who worked tirelessly to provide care to our residents during this challenging time.
“And I would also like to thank the family members and friends of residents for their patience with our staff and processes in place to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission.”
