NVC Group, a local not for profit, has been recognised at the National Australian HR Institute (AHRI) Awards in Melbourne on Friday, 5 December.
The AHRI is a peak body for Human Resources in Australia. These awards encourage Human Resource professionals and organisations to pursue excellence and lead with purpose.
NVC Group won the Best Organisational Development and Change Strategy Award, successful over other finalists MediBank and HBF. This award recognises initiatives which identify the optimal structure, function and culture of an organisation, and enact development or change to achieve organisational objectives.
NVC Group were recognised for tackling post-pandemic workforce shortages in the local area through tailored training and ethically recruiting international workers. This built a stable, skilled team aligning with aged care reforms.
Wilson Loyo, People Support Manager, was also a finalist for HR Practitioner of the Year. An honour that reflects NVC Group’s commitment to cultivating a strong, people-centred workplace.
