A very proud day for NV College! On Thursday 27th June, we officially celebrated our office opening at 34 Moonee St, Coffs Harbour with staff, stakeholders and students.
This achievement coincides with our 10th year, from humble beginnings in Macksville, to providing quality training opportunities for our local community from Kempsey to the Coffs region. Our college now provides training and development for anyone wanting a career or to upskill in the areas of aged care, home and community care, disability care, hospitality, or business and leadership.
At the opening, students, past and present, gave speeches on their positive experiences with the college. A mature aged student spoke about moving to the Mid North Coast, needing to re-train to find work and discovering a rewarding career along the way.
Kinni Naleve, a student who moved from Fiji said, “NV College were always so helpful and there every step of the way. Our trainer Jacqui was truly amazing.”
Thanks to everyone for coming along and celebrating our event, including Member for Coffs Harbour, Gurmesh Singh, who cut the ribbon to officially open the office and presented an award to one of NV College’s senior trainers and assessors, Jacqui Boaden, and Uncle Barry Hoskins, who gave a beautiful Welcome to Country. You can read more about it here.
NV Colleges offers many courses. Please free feel to give us a call to talk about what a rewarding career might look like on 1300 655 224.
And here’s to ten more years of providing quality training to our local community!
