NV College welcome latest Certificate III students

Published: 21 Oct 2024

Malaysian students, currently studying the Certificate III in Individual Support with NV College, have started on the next chapter of their journey, arriving in the Nambucca Valley this week.

After completing three months of theoretical training in Malaysia, they will now undertake a three-month practicum at NV College in Macksville college and at aged care facilities in the Nambucca Valley.

Once completed, these students will have a qualification in Certificate III Individual Support and have the skills and experience to draw on to become aged care specialists.

The students will bring invaluable expertise back to Malaysia. They will contribute to the transformation of the country’s care economy.

“This is a great opportunity for the students, coming to learn in Australia, and for our college,” said Enrico Fabian, RTO Manager. “We give all our students hands on, practical training that will enable them to provide quality care and forge a rewarding career path.”

Thanks go to IEG Campus for their assistance, Yayasan Peneraju for their generous support and financing, as well as to the Australian High Commission in Malaysia for their special assistance.

Together, they are helping these students become dedicated care support workers.
