Macksville Medical Centre welcomes Allied Health services

Published: 22 Jan 2024

There’s a bit of news from the Macksville Medical Centre (MMC)! We’re very excited to welcome two new allied health services, which are now operating from our practice. Bradley Pritchard, a psychologist, and Young Minds Thrive, an early child health, development and learning support organisation.

Bradley Pritchard (BPsych (Hons), MCounselPsy, MAPS, PsychBA Supervisor), will be operating from the MMC on Thursdays, with special interests covering adult mental disorders, stress management, emotional regulation, bereavement, trauma, relationships, and addictions (particularly gambling).

Young Minds Thrive, operates from the MMC, on Mondays and Tuesdays, and offers professional-led services for children’s growth, health and learning. They offer insights and tailor plans to nurture children from 0 – 12 including development and behaviour assessments, school learning support and NDIS early intervention support services. The clinic team have a combined thirty years of experience in health and education and are passionate about supporting the Nambucca Valley’s children to be the best they can be. For more information please contact Young Minds Thrive on 0432 952 736 or LetsTalk@youngmindsthrive.com.au.

“Both allied health services are new providers within the Nambucca Valley,” Practice Manager Casey Shorter explains. “Their addition will compliment the existing health services available at the MMC, helping us to provide the community with a central location to access much needed services.”
