Happy Father’s Day from NVC Group

Autumn Lodge, in Macksville, and Riverside Gardens, in Nambucca Heads celebrated Father’s Day with barbecues this week. Both events were well attended by residents at the aged care facilities and there was much laughter over delicious food.

Kathy Knox and Sonia Watts, joint Recreational Activities Officers, at Autumn Lodge said: “We would like to wish all our fathers, and father figures, at NVC a Happy Father’s Day.

“For those who are unable to spend time with their father this Father’s Day or if you’ve lost your father, perhaps you could consider donating to a charity in their honour.

“Perhaps choose a cause or charity that reflects their beliefs and spend what you would have on a gift for them, on helping those who need it.

“It’s a sure-fire way to spread some love.”

Whatever you decide to do to celebrate Father’s Day, NVC Group would like to wish all the dads and father figures out there, a Happy Father’s Day!
