Brand new offering in retirement living

Elderly residents who want to have a great lifestyle and live independently can from next week move into stylish serviced apartments at Riverside Gardens.

NVC Group Lifestyle Living Village Coordinator Helen Funnell said Riverside Gardens over 55s village in beautiful Nambucca Heads now has a brand-new option in retirement living: serviced apartments.

“The serviced apartments are designed to offer a relaxing, easy lifestyle for apartment residents, so that they can have more free time to themselves,” she said.

“Apartment living merges the benefits of independent, retirement village accommodation with some of the services traditionally only offered in residential aged care: home delivered meals and cleaning and laundry services.

“By offering this new niche in retirement living at NVC Group’s Nambucca Heads property, we hope to meet the needs of senior residents who want to live independently, yet have more time to themselves.

NVC Group Hotel Services Manager Beth Laverty is finalising the menu for serviced apartment residents currently and she said it would be both substantial and delicious.

“NVC Group’s kitchens always serve nutritious, delicious, and, where-possible, locally-sourced food,” she said.

“The menu for serviced apartment residents will be great and will include breakfast, a choice of two meals and dessert at lunch, and soup and a choice of two meals for dinner.

“The Riverside Gardens serviced apartments are located near to the Riverside Gardens café as well, so apartment residents will be able to enjoy its offerings as well.”
