Our Community Team is growing to keep up with the demand forĀ  home care services.

NVC Group Home & Community Care Manager Jacqueline Wills said she is finding older residents are increasingly wanting to receive aged care and live independently in their own homes for longer.

“NVC Group understands the demand on our organisation to provide quality home care services is growing and that as a community-owned organisation, we have an obligation to do our very best to meet this demand,” she said.

“We’ve just hired two new Home & Community Care Coordinators for the Coffs Harbour office and I hope to hire another one for the Macksville office in the near future.

“I also want to increase service delivery in the Macleay Valley region, so I hope to build our team there and also potentially open a new office in the future.”

NVC Group is currently advertising for a Groundsman/maintenance Officer for its Kempsey community team, as well as a Administration/rostering Officer. The Community team provides home care services subsidised by the Australian Government through its Commonwealth Home Support Programme and Home Care packages. If you know of someone over the age of 65 who needs just a little extra support at home, encourage them to contact the Australian Government’s My Aged Care team to learn if they’re eligible for assistance. Then contact NVC Group and together, we can hopefully create a home care package to suit.
