We aim to improve the quality of life, independence, and dignity of our clients through personalised and compassionate support.

NVC Group are currently looking for two Personal Care Workers to deliver in-home care for our clients in the Kempsey region. These positions will initially be part-time (50 hours per fortnight) with the view to increase hours for the right applicant.

Your role

As a Personal Care Worker, you will:

  • assist clients with personal hygiene in their homes
  • support clients with mobility, transfers and maintaining a safe home environment
  • help with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping, social engagement and household chores
  • build respectful, caring relationships that promote clients’ choice, independence, and dignity
  • observe and report any changes in clients’ health or living conditions to your supervisor

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

  • holds a Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Disability Support (or equivalent)
  • has a current NSW driver’s licence and reliable transport
  • is reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
  • demonstrates empathy, patience, and strong communication skills
  • holds a current National Police Clearance, or a Working with Vulnerable People Check (must be obtained before commencement)
  • has completed or is willing to complete training in First Aid, Manual Handling, and Infection Control
  • holds valid Australian work rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or appropriate work visa).
