About the opportunity

A terrific opportunity has become available with a NFP that has provided quality care to residents for almost 50 years. We are seeking enthusiastic, experienced staff to join our friendly team. These positions are located at Riverside Garden (Nambucca Heads), Cedar Place (Kempsey) and Autumn Lodge (Macksville).

These full time positions. Employment conditions are as per the NVC, NSWNMA and HSU NSW Enterprise Agreement 2017-2020.  The current hourly base rate is $28-$30.11 plus applicable shift penalties.  Attractive salary packaging is available.

The role

• personal care provided to residents – such as bathing, dressing
• contribute to the development of care plans
• keeping accurate and up to date progress notes
• ability to effectively support distressed individuals
• manual dexterity
• physically fit with constant walking between resident bedrooms and shared areas.
• social and emotional support.

What’s required

• Certificate III in Individual Support
• experience as a personal carer in a residential aged care setting
• commitment to the principles of a multi-disciplinary team approach
• good communication skills – written and verbal
• computer literacy
• be passionate about delivering the best possible care for our clients
• commitment to shift times
• commitment to following NVC’s work health and safety procedures
