Nambucca Valley RN Collaboration
New Graduate Program 2019

The Nambucca Valley New Graduate Program is one element of a Registered Nurse Collaboration Program that supports the growth, development and sustainability of Registered Nursing staff in the Nambucca Valley. Partners in the Collaboration are NVC Group and the Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD).

Those selected for the New Graduate Program will embark on a 12 month program, during which they will spend 6 months working in each of the areas covered by the two partner organisations (Aged Care and Acute Hospital).  The aim of the program is to expose new graduates to a variety of nursing environments, assist in the development of diverse and complementary skills, instil an understanding of the connections required between all two clinical environments to ensure the best possible care for patients, and to expose new graduates to a variety of career pathways and specialisations within each of the settings.

The program is designed to attract new graduates to the Nambucca Valley by assisting their transition from study to nursing practice and offering a variety of settings for them to explore as future career pathways.

Closing date for applications is 16th November 2018.
